Asbestos & Lead Awareness Training

Participants will receive instruction on the applicable legislation and standards in regards to asbestos and lead exposure in the workplace.   They will learn what asbestos and lead are, where these substances can be found and the health risks associated with exposure.   Participants will be able to recognize where asbestos and lead may be found at jobsites and in the workplace, including work that could lead to exposure.   They will learn the appropriate steps to protect themselves. Additionally, they will learn the requirements for respiratory protection and for work involving class I, II, and III asbestos and lead operations.
