Hazmasters Calgary is looking to add to their Inside Sales Team! The Sales Associate is responsible for achieving inside sales revenue goals by obtaining and up-selling orders, creating customer satisfaction, and adding value to the customer’s buying experience. May own a book of accounts. They will also be paired up with one of our OSR's.

 

Detailed Description


Customer Service • Maintain and monitor a log of complaints and objections and discuss trends with the Customer Sales & Service Manager monthly. • Follow company procedures for all sales activities. • Keep customer informed of order status. • Receive and register visitors and service walk-in customers. • Maintain and update customer information as required. • Work with Sales and Operations to ensure a seamless transfer of information once a proposal is awarded. Financial • Complete customer invoicing as necessary. Sales • Follow the company sales methodology to successfully acquire new business. • Develop and present Proposals to the client and follow-up • Negotiate with decision makers to close deals that will maximize profitability for Hazmasters. • Identify additional product or service opportunities with existing or potential clients and determine, with the Customer Sales & Service Manager, whether Customer Sales & Service or outside sales should manage the opportunity. • Log all proposals / quotes to existing and potential customers. • Prepare for, attend and participate in Weekly Sales Meetings as required. • Remain current on industry trends, market activity and competitor products. • Ensure cleanliness of the customer service area and work station. Sales Pipeline • Provide competitive intelligence accumulated through client interaction to the sales team to guide refinements to Sales Pipeline Strategies. • Identify new leads that match Hazmasters' Value Propositions and research those leads to gain an understanding of their business. • Inform Branch Manager in advance if weekly activity targets will not be met. • Log all Customer Activity in the Customer Service Tracker and schedule follow-up when necessary. • Maintain regular contact with existing clients, continually working to understand new or existing "pains"/needs and developing strategies to address those pains. • Meet weekly with the Customer Sales & Service Manager to discuss activity and strategize on specific opportunities. Others • Follow company procedures and policy to both their letter and intent. • Report unsafe working conditions. • Create and update procedures on tasks relating to the duties of this position as required. • Enforce and adhere to the codes of the company's Mission.

 

Job Requirements 
Education • High school diploma.
