  • 34 years experience as a property restoration specialist, industry advocate and consultant
  • Expertise in textile cleaning, water damage restoration and mould remediation
  • 12 years experience as a certified IICRC instructor
  • Has taught the most classes of all IICRC instructors from 2010-2015, averaging over 70 classes per year
  • Maintains one of the highest student pass rates amongst IICRC instructors
  • Carey’s IICRC approved school, Indoor Air Management Canada, focuses on Canadian content, integrating
  • CSA standards and provincial legislation to connect restoration training with safety training; where applicable, classes incorporate confined space entry, fall protection and infection control
  • Served 17 years on the IICRC Board of Directors with 5 years as Vice President and 3 years as President, currently on the IICRC Board of Directors
  • Contributed to the development of IICRC standards and reference guides for the restoration industry
  • Sits on 11 IICRC committees and serves as the Textile Division Chair overseeing 8 Trade Advisory Committees
  • As a volunteer member of the IICRC Marketing Committee, Carey has been instrumental in marketing the use of IICRC Certified Firms and Technicians to the insurance industry and different levels of government


Gabriel Belanger • WRT, FSRT

  • 13 years experience as a property restoration specialist
  • Expertise in textile cleaning, water damage restoration and mould remediation
  • Current Technical Advisor/Trainer for Steamatic Canada
  • Bilingual in French and English; conducts IICRC training in Quebec in French
  • Facilitator of continuing education credit classes to the insurance industry across Canada for agents and adjusters
  • Teaches Indoor Air Management Canada’s course curriculums

James Tole • CCT, UFT, Contents Efficiencies & Job Operations

  • 28 years experience as a cleaning and restoration specialist
  • Expertise in textile cleaning and contents processing
  • Diverse background in chemical engineering technology and is an Emergency Services Expert and Restoration Proficiencies Specialist
  • 21 years experience as a certified IICRC instructor
  • Developed a full contents processing course in 2010
  • Current Training & Education Administrator for Fireline Training Centers
