Streamlight 3AA ProPolymer HAZ-LO LED Flashlight

Streamlight 3AA ProPolymer HAZ-LO LED Flashlight

The Streamlight 3AA ProPolymer HAZ-LO LED Flashlight is a feature-laden, safety approved flashlight that was designed to meet the stringent requirements of ANSI/UL 913 CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 157-92 regarding intrinsically safe equipment for use in hazardous locations. It is constructed of a high-performance (3 meter impact resistant tested), anti-static, thermoplastic material resistant to chemicals and solvents and has a "captured locking" set screw that will not back out, preventing FOD (foreign object debris). The set screw goes into a metal tray that evenly distributes pressure to protect the body from over-tightening of the set screw; it also helps to avoid batteries being changed out or the housing inadvertently being opened in a hazardous environment. The combination of visual and mechanical polarity protection ensures correct installation of batteries; this flashlight is designed to not power on if batteries are installed incorrectly. It uses 3 "AA" alkaline batteries which will reduce battery and recycling costs and the sealed switch design protects the flashlight from corrosion caused by battery leakage. The 3AA ProPolymer HAZ-LO LED Flashlight features C4® LED technology, which is impervious to shock with a 50,000 hour lifetime. It provides 120 lumens of output and will run for 6.5 hours. It has one body electronic LED module mechanically attached to electronic assembly and the smooth parabolic reflector produces a tight beam with optimum peripheral illumination. The regulated run time provides consistent performance throughout battery life. The housing is an O-ring sealed, dust-proof, water-tight enclosure and is IP67 rated for dust-tight and waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes, as well as IPX4 rated for water spray. It has also been ergonomically designed for maximum hand comfort.
