MSA V-Gard Visors

The V-Gard Accessory System includes a full line of V-Gard Visors for a variety of applications, from general purpose to elevated temperature. Many of the V-Gard Visors are designed for use with V-Gard Chin Protectors (inquire about models that are noted as "Nitrometers"). And since all V-Gard Visors fit all V-Gard Frames, it’s easy to select a combination that is compliant and meets just about any safety need.

V-Gard Polycarbonate Visors for General Purpose Applications:

  • Made of durable polycarbonate
  • Help protector wearer from flying debris, splash or spray
  • Can be worn with cap-mounted earmuffs
  • Available in various sizes and thicknesses
  • Available as either flat, molded, or with contoured sides
  • Offer maximum UV protection
  • Some models available with anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings
  • Green tinted models available to help alleviate eye strain and fatigue by reducing excessive glare (not for use where a Shade Infrared (IR) visor is required)

V-Gard Mesh Visors for General Purpose Applications:

  • Made of durable, epoxy-coated 20 x 20 steel mesh, bound with either heavy-duty plastic or heavy-duty aluminum
  • Help protector wearer from flying debris
  • Can be worn with cap-mounted earmuffs

V-Gard Visors for Chemical and Splash Applications:

  • Molded proprionate visors that protect against impact hazards, abrasive particles, and chemical splash and spray
  • Manufactured with hand-polished molds for unsurpassed, distortion-free optical clarity
  • Available in various sizes and thicknesses
  • Green tinted models available to provide UV protection and help alleviate eye strain and fatigue by reducing excessive glare (not for use where an IR shade visor is required)

V-Gard Visors for Elevated Temperature Applications:

  • Molded polycarbonate visors that help keep workers comfortable in environments of high level heat and/or excessive glare
  • Engineered for heavy-duty use and feature increased thickness to ensure impact resistance and reduce heat warping
  • Available in various sizes and thicknesses
  • Offer maximum UV protection
  • Available with either anti-fog and anti-scratch coating, or with a reflective coating to help filter IR radiation and dissipate heat
  • Green tinted models available to help alleviate eye strain and fatigue by reducing excessive glare (not for use where an IR shade visor is required)

V-Gard Visors for Welding Applications:

  • Molded polycarbonate visors that help protect against damage from impact and Infrared (IR) radiation
  • Designed for welding, metal pouring, gas soldering, and light cutting/brazing
  • Engineered for heavy-duty use and feature increased thickness to ensure impact resistance and to help prevent warping from heat or weld splatter
  • Models with up to Shade 3 or Shade 5 IR protection

V-Gard Visors for Arc Flash Applications:

  • Molded polycarbonate that are engineered to protect against impact and dangerous arc flash hazards
  • Ideal for electrical workers and electricians working with high-voltage connections
  • Note: V-Gard Arc Visors are intended to be used only with dielectric frames and helmets
