In 1950, Canadian Technical Tape Ltd. began operations in Montreal as a small regional manufacturer of pressure sensitive tape, one of the first companies to make the product in North America. The company has now grown to employ 500 people and has seven manufacturing and warehousing facilities located across Canada and the United States. Privately held since its inception, the company continues to grow its product line and focuses on reinvestment by means of research and development, allowing them to maintain their position in the fast-changing market to meet the needs of their demanding customer base. Cantech is constantly searching for new solutions to global tape challenges and to refine established products as the needs of their customers evolve.
